Murray Medical Center is a 42-bed acute care facility with Medical/Surgical, Stepdown units. In addition to the care provided by physicians, patients are cared for by hospital staff, including registered and licensed practical nurses, monitor technicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and others.

All rooms feature easy-reach buttons for bed adjustment, lighting, nurse call, television remote control and more.

The Stepdown Unit offers caregivers an in-between stage to serve patients who do not require constant ICU care, but more care and monitoring than is typical of patients in a Medical/Surgical room.

The Medical/Surgical Unit is used for those patients who need general hospital care for illness or post-operative care.
